Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services - ADAMhs
Fulton, Defiance, Henry, Williams Counties
The Four County ADAMhs Board
Created in 1978, the Four County Board of Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services (ADAMhs) ensures the availability of community-based alcohol, drug addiction and mental health services in Williams, Fulton, Defiance, and Henry Counties.
Four County ADAMhs Board was established through Ohio statute. The Boards purpose is planning, funding, monitoring and evaluating contracted mental health, alcohol and drug treatment services. This helps ensure a continuum of care that includes prevention, treatment, and recovery services. These services are made available to residents of Defiance, Fulton, Henry and Williams counties.
Direct services are not provided at the Four County ADAMhs Board. Instead, the ADAMhs Board contracts with a network of public and private health care agencies in the area. Those contracted agencies offer treatment and recovery needs to persons or families in need. Prevention education and programs are other services offered to schools, workplaces and the community.
Our Mission
Ensuring the availability of an effective integrated care delivery system through the ongoing planning, monitoring, funding and evaluation of the behavioral health needs of our counties is the mission of the Four County ADAMhs Board.
