Fulton County Behavioral Health Disaster Response Plan

Local community leaders from Fulton County along with local law enforcement, the health department, the hospital, the EMA, several behavioral health agencies, the Four County ADAMhs Board and more met to discuss the Behavioral Health Disaster Response Plan in Wauseon. Attendees participated in a tabletop exercise in which they were given a community disaster scenario. After reviewing the scenario, the attendees formulated a disaster response plan that could be put into action to help community members impacted by the disaster. The collaboration between all agencies represented ensures a comprehensive plan and community response.

Funding for this initiative and the development of the Four County ADAMhs Board’s Behavioral Health Disaster Plan was provided by Bipartisian Safer Communities Grant.
